True Blood 308 Recap – Night on the Sun

Sookie screams when she wakes and sees Bill but quickly collects herself. Despite the objection of her friends she decides to talk to Bill in private. Words of grief are exchanged and they decide to go their separate ways. Sookie cries in her hospital bed for the love she has lost.
Eric makes nice with Russell to try and get his trust. Arlene dreams of Rene and feels guilt over the child she is carrying. Bill returns to his home and tells Jessica she is free to go on her own. Jessica cries and begs that he reconsider since he is all he has. Bill comforts her.
Alcide comforts Sookie at her home and Jason tries to get her to press charges against Bill. Sookie refuses, prompting Jason to threaten to kill him. Sam gives his mother some money and sends her off. Tommy feels guilty about the whole thing. Lafayette’s mother escapes the institution where she lives and he has to call Jesus for help. Sookie suns herself later on and she and Tara argue about Bill’s character.
Crystal arrives at Jason’s home with a black eye and he immediately inserts himself into her drama, going to her home and confronting her father with a shotgun. Meanwhile Sookie and Alcide say goodbye and have a moment together where they bemoan the fact that they are in love with other people and they nearly kiss.
Eric confronts Hadley at the mansion and tells her to go and find Sookie and give her a message. The message we see later is not to trust Bill. Sookie glosses over the warning immediately because she is still angry with Eric and claims that he is the one she can’t trust.
Eric discovers a fight between Russell and Talbot. Talbot picks up the Viking crown that belonged to Eric’s father and is about to break it in a tantrum when Eric stops him. He tells Russell that he would be happy to keep Talbot company while Russell is away and Talbot seems to like this idea. Russell is appreciative of Eric’s assistance. They play a game of chess for awhile and then declaring that he is bored Talbot demands that Eric take his clothes off, which Eric does. They begin to kiss.
Russell, Debbie, and werewolves come to Sookie’s home and attack. Russell take Jessica hostage and forces Bill to come outside where he attacks him. Sookie and Debbie fight upstairs until Sookie gets the upper hand and threatens to shoot Debbie with her shotgun. Russell is about to kill Bill when he senses that Talbot has just been staked and killed. Eric, in the midst of some sexy time has taken revenge on Russell by staking his lover. Russell flies away and Debbie runs off as well.
Bill runs into the house to see if Sookie is okay and they fall into each other arms.
I give this episode 3 out of 4 sexy vikings.
