True Blood 307 Recap – Hitting the Ground

Sookie has found herself in a pickle. Lorena has just bitten her and looks as though she will now kill her. Bill manages to grab Lorena and hold her down by wrapping silver around her neck. Sookie grabs a stake and runs it through Lorena’s heart, killing her. Bills slips into unconsciousness just as Tara and Alcide arrive but they are all interrupted as Debbie barges in on them with a gun. Alicide tries to talk her down but it doesn’t work. Tara attacks her and pins her against a wall when Cooter shows up. Alcide shoots Cooter dead and Tara and Sookie grab Bill and escape. Debbie threatens to come after all of them.
Jason is depressed over Crystal and Hoyt tries to cheer him up by reminding him that he can interrogate the prisoner they have in the Bon Temps jail for information about his love interest. Jason is thrilled by the idea and heads to the jail. Once there, Crystal’s cousin tells Jason he won’t tell him anything unless he brings him some crystal meth.
Eric bites Hadley in front of the Queen hoping that Sophie Anne will tell him what it is about Sookie that interests her. The queen refuses to give up her secret though and Hadley whispers to Eric what he wants to know. He is shocked by whatever it is she says and then promptly gives Hadley his own blood to heal her.
Sam poses as a pit bull to get into the dog fight and when one of the men working there finds him and takes him to the cages, he shifts back into human form and knocks him out. Sam lets the dogs out of their cages and he pulls the police alarm which causes everyone to scatter. Tommy is in the ring fighting and Sam gets the other dog off of him. He confronts his parents about what creeps they are and then he and Tommy leave together.
In the back of Alcide’s truck, Sookie cuts herself to feed Bill and he is so ravenous with hunger that he attacks her and nearly drains her, covering her mouth so she can’t scream. When Tara and Alcide discover them, Sookie is nearly dead. Tara kicks Bill out of the truck into the sun and they drive off to a hospital. Bill miraculously is not doing a full burn in the sun and he takes to ground. At the hospital Sookie is in a coma after a bad reaction to a blood transfusion. The doctor tells Tara that Sookie has no blood type and that she is in very bad shape and her family should be notified.
Tara calls Jason who is trying to get meth from Lafyatte for the guy in lockup. He and Lafayette go to Sookie immediately after the call. They stand beside Sookie praying for her recovery. Sookie is dreaming of a paradise with people wearing flowing dresses and dancing. A woman who identifies herself as Claudine takes her hand and walks with her. All of the people in this dream world get scared when they sense Bill approaching. Sookie tells Claudine that Bill is not bad but Claudine disagrees and tells her that he will try to steal her light.
Bill arrives in the hospital and asks if he can heal Sookie. Jason agrees to let him and he inserts Sookie’s IV into his arm and his blood is being transfused into her.
At Fangtasia, Eric and Russell arrive as the Magister is torturing Pam. Russell releases Pam and chains the Magister in her place. He forces the Magister to marry himself and Queen Sophie Anne and then he beheads the Magister. Eric,Pam, and Sophie Anne look on in shock.
At the hospital again, Sookie wakes up… sees Bill and begins screaming.
I give this episode 3 out of 4 beheaded vampires.
